“Art in a bowl” is a creative pop-up workshop originally curated by Gosh Kids and in this special edition, we are opening it to ALL AGES. This workshop focuses on both art and photography. Participants will..

  • learn basic knowledge about digital photography

  • learn how to use their macro function on the camera to capture close up, detailed shots.

  • learn that they can recreate art anywhere and everywhere

  • learn to develop a special eye towards details

  • understand more about colors; what are primary colors, contemporary colors etc

All Materials Included: Compact Digital Camera with memory card, hands-on materials (eg, wooden frames, craft materials, oil, food colouring)

*For ALL AGES!
Children below the age of 12yo have to be accompanied by an adult.

Price: $35/pax, $60/pair (includes all materials and some sweet treats)

Duration: 2hrs

Workshop Schedule

10:30am Welcome + Introduction

  • Icebreaker games

  • Meet & Greet

  • Learn how to use the camera

10:45am Hands on: Tinker & Picture taking

  • Explore, tinker with the everyday materials provided (bowl of water, food coloring, oil, straw) and create “art in a bowl”.

  • Participants will take pictures of their final product with the camera provided.  

11:30am Hands on: Craft Time

  • Participants will pick 1 of their favourite photos from the series of pictures they took and get it printed

  • Participants will decorate their frames in any way they like with the craft materials provided

12:15pm Review

  • Participants will take turns to share their work with everyone.

12:30pm End of workshop

What will participants bring home?

  • Their favourite picture printed and a decorated frame
