Chiang Mai (2025)
We wanted to plan something interesting during the September break for my high ability kid. So we began looking for short learning trips and found Gosh Kids. The Chiang Mai camp was Seth's first ever camp and my first solo parenting trip overseas (in a city I've never visited too!). Naturally, we had quite a bit of anxiety and had doubts building up.
But despite the incessant questions, Team Gosh Kids were warm and assuring in every step. They were very clear and prompt in their communication. Their programme was paced comfortably and held ALL the kids' interest. More importantly, they are masters at handling conflict resolutions!
At the camp, they delivered everything in the programme and more. Seth grew more empathetic towards plants and insects. He became braver in exploring deep mud and uneven terrains. My son also acquired new social skills in this outdoor unstructured peer interactions.
We came with minimum expectations but Seth left Chiang Mai with a core memory. I highly encourage all mothers to embark on this parent-child camp if you want to bond/reconnect with your child. This 5-day experience may be short, but it's deeply impactful and life-changing for the kids!

The mere fact that Sophie Clare, as a neurodivergent child, gifted with ADHD and Dyslexia, showed interest in writing on the first day of the programme truly surprised me and touched my heart. It offered compelling insight into alternative, more effective learning methods when creativity was incorporated for her.
The facilitators were professional, respectful, and had an intuitive connection with the children. Although I wasn't present, this was noticed when Sophie Clare discussed how the day went and observed through her interactions with the facilitators during drop-off and pick-up. The way she interacted with them clearly reflected the level of trust and comfort she felt with them.
Despite the drop-off requirement, the whole experience significantly transformed both of us and further strengthened our already close mother-daughter bond. It also unlocked another level of independence and autonomy for her, and the act of letting go for me. I am also pretty pleased with the fact that I was able to work productively with a peace of mind and ease while she was engaged in the camp. I even managed to do some sightseeing on my own during free moments when I wasn't working.

Great camp to bond with my child and also an opportunity to make both local and overseas friends. Camp activities allowed us to experience what was uniquely Jeju, it's biodiversity and art. The parent-child activities also allowed me to learn abit more of Jae. How he was an independent and confident individual that I don't have to step in too quick to interfere with what he is doing and to just allow his creativity to shine.

It was such a treat to have 5 days of slowing down and being with our family on a gorgeous farm. With everything taken care of from the moment our plane landed, we could immerse ourselves in enjoying each other and the nature all around us. Gladys and Mathieu have the rare gift of holding space for children - even my usually shy son warmed up quickly to them and wished we could stay for ‘a billion days’.

The camp surpassed all our expectations. The girls had a chance to see and try for themselves the farm to table experience ( from planting, harvesting juicing ) to simple joys in life such as fishing and feeding cows. At the same time they have a chance to reflect through journaling and photography to pique their curiosity. Teacher Matt and Ms G were engaging and patient with the kids. We would definitely do another camp experience with them!

We had such a great experience at our first camp in West Java with Goshkids that we signed up again for their Chiang Mai session. While the overall concept remains the same, the activities and experiences offered are unique to each location. The camp’s core elements—photography, journaling, and podcasting—are still central, but I especially enjoyed the additional activities like farming and the local school exchange..jpeg)
The whole camp experience bring us beautiful memories. we love all the people, very kind, feels like home. gladys and mathieu have been very helpful. we are looking forward to join the camp again next year. thank you

A wonderful Chinese culture immersion and photography experience for preschoolers that allows them to learn through creative play! Highly recommend to parents who want to spend meaningful bonding time overseas with their children (without worrying about planning itineraries too!). My 5yo daughter enjoyed it so much that she wants to go again!

What we initially thought would be wholly indoors turned out to be a very interactive and eye opening programme that consisted of storytelling, hiking, photography, marine life exploration, and a unique hands-on experience using unripe persimmon juices as dye. Trent’s imagination and curiosity were stoked and inspired by the engaging facilitators who were encouraging cheerleaders pushing the boundaries of creativity and uplifting his confidence. The facilitators were always on hand to update parents at pick up time.
Trent truly was sad when it ended, which only goes to show how much fun he had making new memories and friends, and absorbing the world beyond Singapore.
